Happy new year everyone! In this episode, I start the new year by talking about astrology, my favorite self-discovery tool.

I talk about significant placements in your natal chart, and tips to help you reveal your life purpose path.

In this podcast episode:

• I start off by sharing how I began learning astrology

• I explain why we have to remember what we were drawn to as children, and why we should think back and reflect on what we were interested in as a child because it could be a part of our purpose. 

• How Astrology is a good self-discovery tool because astrology:

  • Aims to affirm the experience you are on

  • Reveals habitual behaviors

  • Reveals tools that we chose to bring into this existence with our personality and origin story (and we get to do what we want with those tools)

• I talk about tips for when you read your chart such as why you should:

  • make your own interpretations

  • have discernment about what applies to you and what doesn’t

  • find someone to guide you to see your mission and story through a new lens

• I reveal the main aspects that I look at to reveal your purpose and other important aspects to know including:

  • North Node and South Node signs and the houses they are in

  • Sun, moon, and ascendant

  • MC/10th house (career/public image)

  • Jupiter house (luck/abundance)

  • Chiron house (wounded healer)

  • Uranus (rebel/revolutionary)

  • Neptune (illusions and disillusion)

• Then I use my natal chart as an example of how astrology has helped me gain self-awareness, navigate life, and validate my journey.

• Finally, I talk about the importance of using your intuition and being gentle with yourself during the process of using astrology for self-discovery. Know that no one can tell you what to do in life because you have the power to make your decisions and free will. Astrology is not to predict the future or for someone to tell you what decisions to make. You should work to integrate your own interpretations because it’s an intuitive process and personal to your experience. Also, be sure to practice relaxation and reflection after diving into your natal chart to help you integrate the new wisdom you gain.
